About the Role

Our client, a leading banking institution in the UAE, is looking for an experienced MDM Lead – Oracle to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and integrity of customer master data while driving enterprise-wide data governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of Oracle Master Data Management (MDM) solutions across the enterprise.
• Develop and execute MDM strategies aligned with business and data governance objectives.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of enterprise master data.
• Design and maintain Data Steward interfaces and workflows.
• Manage merge, unmerge, matching, de-duplication, and suspect queue resolution processes.
• Define and implement enterprise data quality standards, validation rules, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and manage cross-reference models, survivorship rules, source data history, and publish/subscribe mechanisms.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and code reviews to project teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data governance committees.
• Support internal and external audits by providing technical documentation and compliance evidence.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
• Strong experience within the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Hands-on expertise in:
  • Oracle Customer Hub (OCH)
  • Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ)
  • Siebel Universal Customer Master (UCM)
  • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data Cleansing
  • Data Standardization
  • Data Matching
  • Clustering
  • De-duplication
  • Reference Data Management
• Experience designing:
  • Data Steward User Interfaces
  • Merge & Unmerge Processes
  • Automated Suspect Queue Resolution
• Deep knowledge of:
  • Cross Referencing
  • Survivorship Rules
  • Source Data History
  • Publish & Subscribe Models
• Experience defining and implementing enterprise Data Quality frameworks.
• Strong SQL and Oracle Database knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing enterprise MDM architecture.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with banking customer data models.
• Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Oracle certifications in MDM, EDQ, ODI, or related technologies will be an added advantage.
