Position: Mechanical BIM Modeller

Job Overview:

As a Mechanical BIM Modeller, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and drawings using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. You will work closely with our engineering and design teams to produce accurate and efficient models that meet project requirements. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects and maintaining our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop accurate 3D models of mechanical systems using BIM software

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure models meet project requirements

- Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements

- Identify and resolve any clashes or conflicts in the model

- Create detailed 2D drawings and schedules from the 3D model

- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the model and drawings

- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for BIM modelling

- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on model progress

- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modelling for mechanical systems

- Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks

- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes

- Knowledge of building codes and standards

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
