SAP S/4HANA SD Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant to join our client’s team in the UAE/Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP SD configuration, Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, integrations, implementation, and production support.

This role requires a hands-on SAP SD professional who can work closely with business stakeholders, understand requirements, configure solutions, support implementations, and resolve complex production issues in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, enhance, and support SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions.
  • Manage and optimize the complete Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle.
  • Perform SAP SD configuration across:
    • Sales Order Processing
    • Pricing Procedures
    • Billing
    • Credit Management
    • ATP/aATP
    • Delivery Scheduling
    • Logistics Execution
    • Export Sales & Shipping Processes
  • Work on SAP SD integration with other modules including:
    • SAP FI/CO
    • SAP MM
    • SAP EWM
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions.
  • Perform configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
  • Handle ITSM tickets through platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and test scripts.
  • Support Unit Testing (UT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business validation activities.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support global rollouts, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of total IT experience with 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience.
  • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) Configuration.
  • Strong understanding of OTC processes and SAP SD business flows.
  • Expertise in:
    • Pricing
    • Billing
    • Credit Management
    • ATP/aATP
    • Delivery Scheduling
    • Logistics Execution
    • Export Sales and Shipping Documentation
    • Revenue Recognition
    • Contracts, Rebates, and Variant Configuration
  • Experience with SAP SD integration with FI/CO, MM, and EWM.
  • Strong production support experience with issue resolution and RCA.
  • Experience in SAP configuration and customization activities.
  • Experience in functional documentation and testing activities.
  • Exposure to ITSM processes and ServiceNow ticket handling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project experience.
  • Experience with global SAP rollouts, migrations, or large-scale support projects.
  • SAP SD Certification is preferred.
  • GCC or international project experience is an advantage.
