Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Modeller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models of electrical systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain accurate 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software

- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient design coordination

- Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents

- Identify and resolve clashes and conflicts within the BIM model

- Generate accurate and detailed 2D drawings and reports from the BIM model

- Conduct quality checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications

- Stay updated on the latest BIM software and industry trends to continuously improve processes and workflows

- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates

- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within designated deadlines

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modelling for electrical systems

- Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks

- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices

- Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to electrical design and BIM

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

- Experience in using BIM for clash detection and coordination is preferred
